YGERNE's claom to fame happened on the JAn 10, 2010 official test, when as a yearling she outmilked EVERY doe in the herd, placing Number One!

YGERNE is bigger as a yearling than most of the mature does. And she gre at the same time she was making lots of milk.

YGERNE is very open and rangy and strong and active. Her earys are too long to display traditional Saanen type. Tall, long legs, talks too much and rump is too steep. YGERNE milked strong in winter, tops of 15 yearlings on December test. Too posty for the show folk, so babies cheaper for dairymen. This doe was markedly longer than the rest of the early kid crop #801-#818. Hurray for MOOSE who keeps us from having to carry the spring kids over the next winter dry! This fall to YILDUN, page 13.
